To provide a teaching material authoring system capable of appropriately grading or evaluating when artificial intelligence is used for a learning support system.SOLUTION: A teaching material authoring system includes: a text conversion unit for converting contents answered by a trainee to a given question into text data by a function of artificial intelligence; a text modification unit capable of correcting, by the trainee, the text data converted by the text conversion unit; a model answer storage unit for storing at least one model answer to the question; and a meaning approximation determination unit for determining, by a function of artificial intelligence, the degree of approximation by which the meaning of the answer of the trainee as a language approximates the meaning as the language of the model answer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
