To provide a visual perception simulation method and a visual perception simulation program that effectively motivate a patient to undergo treatment for the patient's eye.SOLUTION: A visual perception simulation method to be implemented by an ophthalmologic system includes at least: an estimation information acquisition step of a computer acquiring estimation information indicating a visual perception state of a patient's eye at a certain point of time; and an output step of a PC outputting a simulation image that indicates visual performance of the patient's eye at the certain point of time and corresponds to the estimation information in order to present the simulation image to the patient's eye. As a result of the presentation of the simulation image to the patient's eye, the patient is effectively motivated to undergo treatment for the eye.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
