Disclosed are a cerebral infarction prediction method based on cerebral infarction severity and an apparatus therefor. A cerebral infarction prediction method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an input step of acquiring a first magnetic resonance image and a second magnetic resonance image; a lesion prediction processing step of pre-processing the first MR image and predicting a lesion region for cerebral infarction by applying the pre-processed first MR image to a deep learning model to generate a lesion region prediction resu a prediction result storage step of matching the first magnetic resonance image with the lesion area prediction result and storing the sorted cerebral infarction prediction result for each patient; a cerebral infarction severity calculation step of calculating a cerebral infarction severity based on the cerebral infarction prediction result and the second magnetic resonance image to generate a cerebral infarction severity calculation resu and generating a final prediction result by visualizing the cerebral infarction severity calculation result, and outputting the final result output step of outputting the final prediction result generated for diagnosing cerebral infarction.
