A three-dimensional data encoding method that: encodes an encoding target point, from among a plurality of three-dimensional points, by referring to three dimensional points included in a second frame that is different from a first frame that includes a predictive tree having the encoding target point included therein, and generates encoded data; and generates a bitstream including the encoded data. The plurality of three-dimensional points included in the second frame have been encoded. During the encoding, at least some of the plurality of three-dimensional points included in the second frame are browsed on the basis of motion compensation information (mv0, mv1, mv2) associated with the predictive tree, and the encoding target point is encoded. The bitstream includes the motion compensation information.
