A dual-connection drill rod imitating an animal rib-bone structure, comprising a rod body, a male joint (1) and a female joint (2) on both ends of the rod body, and a rib rod (3). An inner taper thread of the female joint (2) may be screwingly mounted on an outer taper thread of a male joint (1) of an adjacent drill rod; the rib rod (3) is provided within a central through hole (101) of the male joint (1) and a central through hole (201) of the female joint (2), and both ends of the rib rod (3) are limited with an inner wall (109) of the male joint and an inner wall (204) of the female joint, respectively; when the inner taper thread and the outer taper thread begin to be screwed, an outer straight thread at a threaded end of the rib rod (3) is separated from an inner straight thread of the female joint (2) or male joint (1) after being screwed; the outer taper thread of the male joint (1) and the inner taper thread of the female joint (2) form a bone connection pair, and the outer straight thread of the threaded end and the inner straight thread of the female joint (2) or male joint (1) form a rib connection pair, so as to achieve a rib-bone dual connection between two adjacent drill rods. After the bone connection pair is broken, the rib connection pair has a connecting effect, thus improving connection reliability.
