This nutrient intake quantity estimation system according to an embodiment comprises: a sensor that is installed in a lavatory space and detects the odor of excreta of a user of the lavatory space; an estimation means that, according to input based on an output value from the sensor, uses output from an estimation model that outputs information indicating the quantity of nutrients estimated to have been taken in by the user, to estimate an estimated nutrient intake quantity, which is the quantity of nutrients taken in by the user; and an output means that outputs information based on the estimated nutrient intake quantity.
