In an optimal path derivation system and an optimal path derivation method using the same, the optimal path derivation system includes a data input unit, a path setting unit, a cost calculation unit, a path derivation unit, and a display unit. The data input unit receives data on the user's current location, exits, and branching points from the current location to the exits. The route setting unit sets all possible routes from the user's current location to the exits based on the current location, junctions, and exits. The cost calculator calculates a cost for each of all the set paths. The route derivation unit derives an optimal route for escaping from the user's current location, based on the calculated cost. The display unit displays the derived optimal path to the outside.
