PURPOSE: A re-routing apparatus and a method for finding an optimal paths from an original path to a detached place in a navigation system and a navigation system by using the same are provided to reduce the communication cost to connect with the server by calculating the optimal path. CONSTITUTION: A re-routing method for finding an optimal paths from an original path to a detached place in a navigation system includes the steps of: a first process for extracting the detached place link information from the map data when the moving object driving the predetermined path supplied from the navigation system is detached from the path(s110); and a second process for determining the path to the destination via the link selected from the detached place as a re-routing path by selecting a predetermined link among the links including the previous detached paths(s130- s140). The predetermined link meets the link extending in a direction having a short accumulated driving cost.
