The invention relates to a blank (10) which can folded out to form a bowl, is made of plastically bendable material and has a heart-shaped bottom, the two straight edge portions of which are adjoined by side wall elements (36, 36'), which project above the curved structure of the heart shape and have projection portions (38, 38'). The side wall elements (36, 36') are connected to one another at their first ends (40, 40') and at their second ends (42, 42'), as a result of which the blank (10) can be arranged in two layers by folding along the groove line (16) on the bottom so as to be delivered to a customer in this form. By opening out the bottom, the side walls (36, 36') automatically stand up. An inwardly protruding connection element (45), which connects the two ends (40, 40') of the side wall elements (36, 36') to each other can then be pushed into the gap between the two upper curves of the heart shape, where said connection element is secured on the bottom, for example by a push-in connection.
