The present invention relates to a control system and a control method by which a front lifting of a Grätschsitzvehicle can be suppressed in a suitable manner. With the control system and control method according to the present invention, a damping force of the suspension and a driving force occurring on the Grätschsitzvehicle are controlled. Further, a drive force adjustment control is carried out, with which the driving force occurring on the Grätschsitz vehicle is adjusted such that a front lift, in which a front wheel of the Grätschsitz vehicle lifts off, is suppressed,and a starting point of the drive force adjustment control is controlled by means of a physical quantity reflecting a state of suspension.
