As a way to build an immersive interface suitable for a room-scale virtual reality environment, an indoor fire hydrant spray nozzle interface for room-scale virtual reality using a vibe tracker and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor is proposed. Virtual reality system according to the present invention is a tracker installed on the first side of the device held in the user's hand; a station that detects the position and orientation of the tracker; a motion sensor attached to the second side of the instrument; and a computing system that detects a posture of the instrument and an operation state of the instrument based on the position and orientation of the tracker detected by the station and the orientation of the motion sensor.
