Provided are a Kinect sensor for training an indoor fire hydrant and an IMU-based motion tracking system and method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the motion tracking system comprises: a processor recognizing a motion of a mechanism from motion data generated by a motion sensor generating the motion data for the mechanism in a hand of a user; and a computing system tracking a motion of the user by fusing a recognition result of a motion recognition system recognizing the motion of the user through shooting and a recognition result of the motion sensor. Thus, the construction of the motion tracking system of a trainee using an indoor fire hydrant to support post-criticism and debriefing at a low cost is possible, robust motion tracking on occlusion of another arm by one arm is possible, and robust motion tracking for position errors in adjacent hands is possible.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
