The invention relates to a brush (1) for use with a brushcutter with an outer cap (4), with an inner cap (5), with a large number of brush braids (6) and with a perforated disc (7) which has a large number of recesses (8 ) for receiving the brush braids (6). The inner cap (5) has a crank (11) directed towards the outer cap (4). The outer cap (4) and the inner cap (5) have respective bores (9) serving to engage a connecting element (2) of the brushcutter. The perforated disk (7) has a bore (10) with a size such that the crank (11) of the inner cap (5) extends through the bore (10) of the perforated disk (7). The inner cap (5) rests with its flat surface (12) located between the crank (11) and the bore (9) of the inner cap (5) on a flat surface (13) of the outer cap (4) facing the inner cap (5). The inner cap (5) and the outer cap (4) are connected to one another in the area of their plane surfaces (12, 13).
