Collaborative license management process between industrial domains

The present disclosure relates to a method for managing licenses of a service application between a plurality of interconnected industrial domains, the method comprising: - selecting (S1) a delegation policy; - deploy (S3) a virtual local license manager in one of the two industrial domains and - transmit (S4) a license authorizing the use of the service application to said virtual local license manager, in particular to execute (S5) control of a cyber-physical system.
