A disclosed method for forming an aligned structure of graphite comprises the steps of: applying, onto a substrate, a graphite composition including graphite particles, a binder, and a solvent; applying a magnetic field to the applied graphite composition so as to orient the graphite particles; freezing the graphite composition including the oriented graphite particles; and sublimating and removing the frozen solvent of the graphite composition.
