Disclosed are a device and a physical technical method for disposing of the water from the forced-air evaporator of a cooling unit and for using the energy thereof to reduce the consumption of electrical energy and to increase the profitability of cooling apparatus. Said device uses apparatus that is easy to install and manufacture and is efficient in solving the problems of leakage from the evaporation tube, referred to as the serpentine coil, of water discharged from the evaporator during the defrosting process.
