The dish washer (1) has a washing portion (2) and a rinsing portion (3) defining a tunnel (4). A heat pump (18) is provided with a condenser (23) for heating water that treats the dishes. The heat pump has an evaporator (17) for cooling an outlet air from an air mixer. Air/water heat exchanger (14) cools the air from the tunnel in upstream of the evaporator and heats the water in upstream of the condenser.
