A weighted ensemble system for the prediction of infectious diseases, comprising:a data capture module for the detection of dengue and typhus cases;a regression module using different regression techniques to regress the collected data set of typhoid cases using independent variables to predict infectious diseases;where regressed values are determined and averaged using an average approach; anda weighted average ensemble controller for calculating predictive values, comparing individual predictive errors to compensate for predictive errors.
