An advertisement providing server using augmented reality is provided. The advertisement providing server includes: an augmented reality image extraction unit for extracting an augmented reality image previously mapped to information on the recognition tag provided from a user terminal that has photographed a recognition tag provided on an advertisement target from a database; and an augmented reality image providing unit for providing the augmented reality image to the user terminal so that the extracted augmented reality image is output to the user terminal to enable shooting with the augmented reality image included.
