Disclosed are in embodiments of the present application are a polar code encoding method and apparatus, and a polar code decoding method and apparatus, used for lowering complexity of encoding and decoding. The method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: generating an input vector, the input vector comprising T sub-blocks, and a first information bit on a first sub-block being copied from a second information bit on a second sub-block, wherein the first sub-block and the second sub-block are sub-blocks in the T sub-blocks, the sequence of the serial number of the first sub-block is after that of the second sub-block, and T is an integer greater than or equal to two; and performing polarization coding on the input vector to obtain coded bits.
