Disclosed is a tornado type aeration device having a maximized oxygen dissolution performance. The present invention provides a tornado type aeration device comprising: a connecting member having an inlet formed therein to allow air to be injected thereinto; and a chamber which includes an outlet formed therethrough and has a tapered shape such that an internal upper part of the chamber narrows upward, wherein air introduced through the inlet into a lower part of the chamber to form a vortex is supplied through the outlet into water while generating acoustic energy, and the chamber includes a plurality of extension protrusions formed along the circumference of the outlet and inclined with respect to the vertical direction.
