A method for generating/enhancing an immune cell population comprising immune cells specific for an Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) lytic antigen, comprising: i) one corresponding to all or a portion of one or more EBV lytic antigens; more than one peptide; or (ii) contacting with an antigen presenting cell (APC) presenting one or more peptides corresponding to all or a portion of the one or more EBV lytic antigens to stimulate immune cells specific for the EBV lytic antigen. Also disclosed are populations of immune cells comprising immune cells specific for an EBV lytic antigen augmented according to this method and uses thereof.
