Disclosed is a light environment regulation and control method for increasing the flowering amount of edible flowers in a plant factory. During the planting of edible flowers, the spectral composition of a light source used comprises red light and far-red light, wherein the far-red-light photon number/red-light photon number is 0.25-0.43. According to the light environment regulation and control method provided by the present invention, the amount of edible flowers can be greatly increased by means of accurately controlling the FR/R ratio range, and operation is easy and large-scale production can be achieved.
