The present invention relates to a botanical, and discloses use of kadsura heteroclita (roxb.) craib agent in preparation of a medicament for resisting rheumatoid arthritis. The Kadsura heteroclita (roxb.) craib agent can effectively inhibit proliferation of rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast-like synoviocytes (RAFLS), effectively inhibit the production of inflammatory factors TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 of RAFLS induced by lipopolysaccharides, increase the expression level of IL-10, and has a good anti-inflammatory effect. Furthermore, the agent can effectively inhibit the incidence of arthritis in rat induced by AIA, reduce the swelling degree of toes of rats, and improve pathological and radiological image changes in the toes of rats. Also disclosed is a medicament taking the Kadsura heteroclita (roxb.) craib agent as an active ingredient, which can be prepared into a plurality of dosage forms such as tablets, capsules or injections, and is used for inhibiting pathological changes caused by rheumatoid arthritis and preventing bone joint damage.
