Barnacles Cyprus larval adhesion-induced peptides and their utilization

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a substance having an ability to induce adhesion of barnacles Cyprus larvae, which can be produced at low cost. A peptide containing an amino acid sequence of 3 to 12 amino acid residues including a DAL (aspartic acid-alanine-leucine) sequence has an ability to induce adhesion of larvae of Fujitsubo cyprus.
