The present invention relates to nanoparticles comprising a zeolite imidazolate-based structure with a controlled crystal structure and a method for preparing the same. Nanoparticles according to the present invention include metal ions; and an organic ligand bound to the metal ion, wherein the organic ligand includes an imidazolate-based organic ligand and an alkylamine-based organic ligand.
