FIELD: controlling.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses and systems of on-board automation utilising the power of explosive transformations of power-saturated condensed systems - explosive substances (explosives), and can be used on objects of rocket and space technology, in particular, on automatic space vehicles (SVs) for scientific and applied purposes, and specifically, on small-sized SVs for solving problems of reliable initiation of detonation separation systems and apparatuses. The safety-type initiator comprises a cylindrical body, a cylindrical slider coaxially placed inside the body with a booster charge installed on the front end thereof, a lock configured to retain the slider, ejector charge located on the side of the back end of the slider, a stopper and an electric detonator placed in the wall of the body. The body is made with front and back end covers. An amplifier charge of an indestructible detonation command translator, mounted along the axis in the back end cover of the body, is used as ejector charge. A ball lock built into the front end cover of the body is used as a lock retaining the slider in the retracted position, the stem whereof has a variable cross-section with a conical transition from a larger diameter retaining the balls of the lock in the pressed state to a smaller diameter ensuring triggering of the lock, and is rigidly attached to the slider. The stopper is made in the form of a cutting pin, installed between the body and the booster charge. Sealing rings made of a polymer material are placed on the cylindrical surface of the slider by the back end thereof, and the booster charge is made of a highly explosive substance with a small, not exceeding 0.5 mm, critical detonation diameter and is equipped with end loaded reinforcement cups. On the inner wall of the body to the length of the stroke of the slider, two longitudinal grooves located diametrically relative to each other are made, and on the slider by the front end thereof, two protrusions following the profile of the groove in the cross-section, respectively.;EFFECT: reduction in the impact pulses acting on the sensitive structural elements and the precision equipment to the acceptable values, increase in the reliability of operation of the apparatus, reduction in the load on the on-board power sources, simplification and facilitation of the cable network, reduction in the mass and dimensional characteristics of the apparatus.;3 cl, 3 dwg
