FIELD: food industry. ;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wholesome drink containing extra virgin olive oil. A wholesome drink in the form of an oil-in-water liquid emulsion is proposed, where the specified emulsion contains, wt. %: 25-70 extra virgin olive oil per emulsion weight; 25-60 water; 1-15 sweetener selected from saccharide sweeteners, polyol sweeteners and their combinations; 0.5-8 the emulsifying substance selected from protein emulsifiers, phospholipids and their combinations; and a flavor additive. A packaged wholesome drink sealed in a container having an internal volume of 30-150 ml is proposed, and the specified container contains at least 30 ml of the wholesome drink. A method for producing a packaged wholesome drink is also proposed, including: mixing extra virgin olive oil, water, a protein emulsifier, a sweetener and a flavor additive; homogenization; pasteurization or sterilization; and packaging the drink in sealed containers. ;EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a healthy drink that reveals the nutritional advantages of extra virgin olive oil, can be easily consumed and even attracts consumers who do not like the characteristic taste of extra virgin olive oil. ;15 cl, 2 tbl, 6 ex
