Degassing apparatus, degassing system and method of using same

FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to degassing devices, deaeration systems, and methods of using the deaeration devices to remove entrapped or dissolved gas molecules in a treatment liquid. The degassing apparatus comprises: a vacuum chamber having one or more walls; one or a plurality of inlets and one or a plurality of fluid outlets through which liquid is passed individually into and out of the vacuum chamber, the one or plurality of inlets and one or a plurality of fluid outlets passing through at least one wall; one or a plurality of separators located within the vacuum chamber and permeable to gas molecules but impermeable to liquids; for applying a pressure differential across the separator(s) through the vacuum port to cause gas molecules to leave the liquid and permeate through the separator(s), thereby removing entrapped or dissolved gas from the liquid; at least one vacuum source; and optionally one or a plurality of feed lines in fluid communication with the inlet(s) and the two or more separators.
