This degassing system is provided with a plurality of degassing units for degassing liquids, and a hollow-fiber-membrane bundle casing of cylindrical form, for housing the plurality of degassing units in a parallel array. Each of the plurality of degassing units is provided with a hollow-fiber membrane bundle in which a plurality of hollow fiber membrane strands is bundled into cylindrical form, and a shell in which the hollow-fiber membrane bundle is housed. The casing has an inlet through which liquid is supplied from the exterior, an outlet through which liquid is discharged to the exterior, and casing sealing sections that via the plurality of degassing units divide the casing internal space into an upstream region on the inlet side and a downstream region on the outlet side. The plurality of degassing units is configured so that liquid-pressure loss differs according as the distance from the center axis of the casing.
