Provided is a storage battery state estimation device capable of performing deterioration diagnosis with high accuracy even when no characteristics information of a storage battery is available. The device is provided with: a baseline function estimation part (31) for separating a data point sequence including the capacity and differential voltage of a storage battery into a baseline point sequence and a peak point sequence and estimating a baseline function on the basis of the baseline point sequence; a peak function estimation part (32) for estimating a peak function on the basis of the peak point sequence; a model function estimation part (33) for estimating a model function on the basis of the baseline function and the peak function; an error peak detection part (34) for detecting the presence/absence of an error peak; and an electrode model function estimation unit (4) for estimating a positive electrode model and a negative electrode model separately using the model function if no error peak is detected.
