The present invention relates to a lithium-ion cell, comprising: an intercalation cathode, an electrolyte and an anode formed by a lithium metal layer, with at least part of the lithium contained in the cell as cyclizable lithium being displaceable from the anode to the intercalation cathode during a discharge cycle of the cell and can be displaced from the intercalation cathode to the anode during a charging cycle of the cell, the cyclizable lithium being provided by the anode and possibly by the intercalation cathode, the amount of cyclizable lithium being predetermined according to a nominal capacity of the cell, the intercalation cathode being designed, to intercalate the amount of cyclizable lithium corresponding to the nominal capacity of the cell, wherein, before the first cycle of the cell, the intercalation cathode is in an at least partially delitiated state and the lithium metal layer is a di which enables the anode to provide at least enough cyclizable lithium that the cyclizable lithium provided by the anode and the cyclizable lithium possibly provided by the intercalation cathode result in the amount of cyclizable lithium specified by the nominal capacity.
