POLYMER COMPOSITION COMPRISING PLLA AND PDLA

A polymer composition is shown and described containing, based on the total weight of the polymer composition, the following components: a. 15 to 70% by weight PLLA, b. 0.1 to 15 wt% PDLA, c. 5 to 40% by weight polyester and d. 5 to 40% by weight of organic or inorganic filler. Such polymer compositions can be biodegradable, contain mainly bio-based carbon and have an increased heat resistance. Furthermore, such polymer compositions can be used in special processes to produce molded parts, films or fibers which, due to their high heat resistance, can also be used as containers for coffee preparation systems.
