Poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) and PLLA/Poly(D-lactide) (PDLA) blend were electrospun into nanofibers. Effects of take-up velocity and PLLA/PDLA blend ratio on structure and mechanical properties of the nanofibers were investigated. Crystalline structures of the nanofibers were determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and x-ray diffraction (XRD). Single nanofibers were collected by an electrospinning process for the tensile tests to investigate the structure-property relationship.
