To provide a fishing hook remover in which a way of removing a fishing hook can be switched according to a hooking state of the fishing hook, without using a different fishing hook remover.SOLUTION: A fishing hook remover 1 includes a body tube 2 provided with a short first notch 2f and a long second notch 2g, a moving body 3 mounted to the body tube 2 in a forward/backward moving manner and having a fishing hook holding part 7 in the front end, and a regulator 4 relatively movable to the body tube 2. The fishing hook remover is configured as follows: a fishing hook 101 is inserted into first and second notches 2f, 2g, when the moving body 3 is retreated while a fishing hook 101 is inserted into the fishing hook holding part 7; the part inserted in the second notch 2g is sandwiched while coming in abutment with the regulator 4 in the longitudinal same level as the part inserted in the first notch 2f, when the regulator 3 is in a regulation position; and alternatively, the part inserted in the second notch 2g comes in abutment with the body tube 2 or the regulator 4 and sandwiched in a rear position from the part inserted in the first notch 2f, when the regulator 4 is in a non-regulation position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
