A clock and data recovery apparatus according to the present technology includes: a data sampler for sampling an input signal according to a first clock signal and outputting a data signal; an edge sampler for sampling an input signal according to a second clock signal having the same frequency as the first clock signal but having a different phase to output an edge signal; an error detection circuit that generates an error signal according to a frequency of occurrence of a plurality of patterns corresponding to a combination of a data signal and an edge signal; an oscillator generating a first clock signal or a second clock signal; and an oscillation control circuit that generates a first oscillation control signal for controlling the oscillator according to the error signal.
