The present invention relates to a gold-doped platinum-based alloy catalyst for a fuel cell and a method for preparing the same. The present invention can provide an excellent catalyst applicable to a proton-exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) and a more realistic strategy for designing a superior ORR catalyst for PEMFC application.
