Drive system comprising:torque converter (TC) with one turbine (17);a gear (14) with multiple friction couplings (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5) and a drive element (15) connected to the turbine (17);anda control (50) with a processor (P) and a memory (M), in which instructions for the control (50) of a gear change-of-mind process (14) are recorded from a gear first requested to a next gear required, with the control (50) configured to detect a change-of-mind switch process;marked by the fact that:the control (50) is also configured to predict an acceleration profile (aTP) of the turbine (17) for the next required circuit, depending on a calibrated desired switching time for the change-of-mind circuit and on the gear speed (14),calculate a control value for the next required circuit using the predicted acceleration profile (aTP) and execute the command for the next required circuit using the calculated control value;where the control (50) is also configured to increase the torque of the engine from the time (t2) at which the next required speed is requested on the basis of a torque calculated on the basis of the acceleration profile (aTP) of the turbine (17).
