Ablation of tissue.The apparatus includes a shaft and inflatable balloon coupled to a distal end of the shaft.The balloon includes a proximal portion which is conductive over at least half of the proximal portion circumference of the proximal portion, a distal portion electrically conductive over at least half of the distal portion circumference of the distal portion, and an electrically insulative intermediate portion that isolates the proximal portion from the distal portion.Other embodiments are described.Diagram
