To provide a conversion system of visual applications between platforms for an object oriented visual design system that creates an interactive application and a website.SOLUTION: In a conversion system 100 of visual applications between platforms, a converter 200 implementable via a client/server system that processes instructions defining the converter includes: a page receiver to receive a website page from a website building system, the page having a source layout for a source display area, the page having an object model representation of components; and a processor to determine an order and set of relationships among the components and to create a target layout of the website page for a target display area, the target layout being based on a semantic analysis and reconciliation of the determined order and set of relationships.
