METHOD FOR PREDICTING COURSE OF PNEUMONIA IN PATIENTS WITH CONFIRMED COVID-19

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy, radiation diagnostics, infectious diseases, and can be used to predict the course of pneumonia in patients with confirmed COVID-19. For this, computed tomography (CT) of the lungs is performed, the degree of damage, prevalence, complications, and concomitant pathology are determined. Additionally, the values of the variables are assessed, where CT - 1 degree - 1 point, CT - 2-2 points, CT - 3-3 points, CT - 4-4 points. Atypical distribution - 1 point, typical - 2 points. No complications - 0 points, pulmonary - 1 point, extrapulmonary - 2 points, combined - 3 points. The absence or presence of concomitant pathology that does not affect the course of pneumonia in COVID-19 - 0 points, the presence of an influencing one - 1 point.
