The present invention provides a method for evaluating the center segregation of a continuous casting slab to quantify and evaluate the center segregation of the slab. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for evaluating the center segregation of the continuous casting slab includes: acquiring a macro gray image of the slab; obtaining an RGB image of the Slav by extracting RGB values for each pixel of the Slavic macro-gray image; classifying a central segregation region and a normal region in the RGB image of the slab using the extracted RGB values; and calculating a central segregation index by using the area of the central segregation region and the area of the normal region.
