The present invention relates to a lecture interpretation service apparatus and a method of driving the apparatus, and the lecture interpretation service apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a storage unit for storing lecture data in which lecture characteristics of an instructor conducting a lecture are reflected, and a control unit that provides an interpretation service based on (pre-)stored lecture data of the designated professor when a learner attending the lecture requests an interpretation for the lecture of the designated professor.
