An objective of the present disclosure is to make it possible to easily replace modules and to easily configure a system in which existing applications are to be incorporated.　The present disclosure is a router device comprising: a routing module that routes packets; a function module that executes arbitrary operations on the packets to be routed by the routing module; and a configuration module that configures a communication path connecting the routing module to the function module.
