In order to improve a method for visualizing a fluid flow in a flow channel, which is delimited by a circumferential closed channel wall, so that fluid flows can be visualized in a simple manner, it is proposed that in the method an endoscopic access to the flow channel is opened through the channel wall, that a radiation field of coherent radiation is passed through the endoscopic access into the flow channel to generate a speckle pattern on an inner wall surface of the channel wall opposite the endoscopic access, that a reference image of the speckle pattern without fluid flow in the flow channel and at least one flow image of the speckle pattern with fluid flow in the flow channel through the endoscopic access and that at least one physical property of the fluid flow is determined by comparing the at least one flow image with the reference image.
