PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component type arrangement method and a component type arrangement arithmetic unit which use an automatic feeder device having an automatic loading function effectively, and improving production efficiency by considering the setup change work time and loading cycle time comprehensively.SOLUTION: A component type arrangement method for disposing an automatic feeder device (9) for automatically loading component storage tapes (85, 86) and a manual feeder device (7) not performing automatic loading, and a reel holding device (6) at disposition positions (first through ninth slots SL1-SL9) on a common pallet (5) has a step (S1) of fixing the automatic feeder device by determining some (SL3-SL7) of multiple disposition positions as fixing positions, and a simulation step (S4) of placing multiple component types at multiple disposition positions, on conditions that the automatic feeder device is not moved from the fixing position, and the manual feeder device can move to an arbitrary disposition position other than the fixing position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
