PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for prosthesis having an improved mechanical characteristic.SOLUTION: In a socket for prosthesis constituted of a fiber-reinforced plastic, the fiber-reinforced plastic includes a core material comprising synthetic fibers, and a thermosetting resin permeating into the core material, and the thermosetting resin contains a carbon nano-tube. Further, the core material is constituted by laminating nylon fibers, and permeated with the thermosetting resin in which the carbon nano-tube is kneaded therewith and dispersed uniformly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
