The present invention relates to a fusion protein dimer comprising a modified IL-2 protein and a CD80 protein fragment or a variant thereof. The fusion protein comprising the IL-2 protein and the CD80 protein fragment or variant thereof can activate immune cells by IL-2 and effectively regulate Treg cells by CD80. Therefore, since the fusion protein can efficiently attack cancer cells, it can be usefully used for the treatment of cancer or infectious diseases.
