An R-tree-based pollutant traceability method and apparatus, and a related device therefor. The pollutant traceability method comprises: when a collected environmental element satisfies a pollution condition, determining the environmental element to be a pollutant, and acquiring the geographic location thereof (11); querying an R-tree database according to the geographic location to obtain the coordinates of discharge ports for discharging the pollutant (12); acquiring a medium environment in which the pollutant is located, and acquiring dimensions corresponding to the medium environment and screening conditions corresponding to each dimension (13); obtaining an R-tree corresponding to each dimension from the database according to the coordinates of the discharge ports, the dimensions and the screening conditions (14); and acquiring the number of times each polluted area in the R-tree under each dimension and polluted areas corresponding to the discharge ports overlap, and marking a discharge port corresponding to an area, the number of instances of overlapping thereof reaching a preset requirement, as a pollution source (15). By means of the method, the problem in the prior art of the low efficiency and accuracy of tracing discharged pollutants can be solved.
