An intelligent sleep staging method and apparatus, an electronic device (1), and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining an original sleep dataset of a user, and using a preset filtering model to perform filtering pre-processing on the original sleep dataset to obtain a pure sleep dataset (S1); using a preset feature extraction method to perform physiological index feature extraction on the pure sleep dataset to obtain a physiological index dataset during sleep (S2); using a preset feature selection method to perform feature selection on the physiological index dataset to obtain a feature selection dataset (S3); and using a preset sleep stage division method to classify the feature selection dataset to obtain a sleep staging dataset (S4). The sleep quality of a user can be monitored according to physiological index data of the user during sleep.
